Alamantra (established 2000): A rock band from Birmingham, Alabama. The current lineup features Bobby Shiflett: guitar, vox, Brandon Allison: drums, Steve Casteel: guitar and Andrew Reid: bass. They have been recognized for their melodic, genre-blending improvisations which draws from Retro, Psychedelic, Progressive, Blues, Surf, & Jazz.
“Our goal is to use music to uplift everyone, including ourselves,” says Alamantra founder Bobby Shiflett. “We adapt ourselves to the listening audience and never forget that our job is to satisfy them rather than the other way around.”
